VELA needed to promote an offer without making the brand feel promotional. The challenge was to create attention and urgency while protecting the premium perception that made the brand desirable in the first place.

Brief

Make the promotion feel premium.

The campaign needed to bring attention to a promotional offer while protecting VELA’s visual identity and perceived value. The objective wasn’t simply to make the promotion louder. It was to make people notice it, remember it and still want the brand.

Challenge

Looking good isn’t the same as being convincing.

Fashion promotions often become louder, busier and more price-led than the brand itself. That can attract attention, but it can also make a premium brand feel cheaper. The challenge was to make the offer impossible to miss without making VELA feel like a discount brand.

Solution

Build the campaign around a visual behaviour, not a sale sign.

Instead of making the discount the creative idea, the campaign used movement, repetition, fragmented imagery and bold editorial composition to create a recognizable visual language. The offer remained visible, but the brand stayed in control of how the promotion felt.

Make them feel it before they taste it.

RESULTS

RESULTS
Did the promotion get attention without losing the brand?

The strongest executions were the ones where the promotional message felt built into the visual idea rather than added on top of it. The lesson: urgency doesn’t have to come at the expense of identity.
